Lenovo has officially announced the ThinkPad W500 and W700. Lenovo describe the new W series as the most powerful laptop. The ThinkPad W500 is equipped with a Core 2 Duo T9400 processor 1GB of DDR3 memory, ATI Mobility FireGL V5700 with 512MB memory. There is also a 100GB HDD and a 15.4-inch LCD display, DVD combo drive, WiFi and a 6-cell battery. The price starts at $1629.
ThinkPad W700 also get the Core 2 Duo T9400 processor, the W700 gets 2GB of memory and the 512MB NVIDIA Quadro FX-2700 graphics. It offers 160GB hard drive and a 17-inch display. The price starts at $2978. WiFi and a 6-cell battery. Which starts at $2,978.
