HTC was working hard on delivering an Android cell phone by the end of 2008. Android handsets are still planning to be shipped to “ODM clients” in the fourth quarter. The first android phones from HTC should be making their way to ODM clients. Along with Android-based handsets, HTC is also planning to start shipping Xperia X1 handsets to Sony Ericsson in the third quarter of this year.
