Maxian have introduced the M1T pocket multi TV in South Korea. The M1T Pocket Multi TV run on Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 operating system. MAXIAN’s new M1T Pocket Multi TV shines with 8GB or 16GB of built-in storage, SDHC expansion and just about every codec imaginable, including the extra-sexy ones like OGG, AAC, DivX and XviD. Additon a 3.5 inch (HVGA) touchscreen display, DMB TV tuner, SD/SDHC memory card slot.

Word on the street is that T-Mobile USA is readying another Samsung handset with a nifty camera, after the Samsung Behold, which is currently available for $149.99 on a 2-yr contract.

The mysterious phone that we’re talking about will apparently be named Samsung Memoir. It should have a wide touchscreen, Samsung’s TouchWiz interface and an 8MP camera with autofocus and flash.

The handset looks to be a North American edition of Samsung Pixon, so T-Mobile’s customers will almost certainly be happy when (and if) it becomes available.

There’s nothing official about Samsugn memoir at the moment, but, according to TmoNews, this is what the handset looks like:
And yes, it does resemble Samsung Pixon, although it’s not exactly like it.

Now, T-Mobile, will you please come with further info about this? Samsung’s fans over in the US are impatiently waiting.

Cowon will launch the Cowon S9 MP3 player in Korea on December 16th. The gadget boasts a 3.3-inch AMOLED capacitive touch panel display that provides 16 million colors on 480 x 272 pixels resolution. The player is powered by a 500MHz dual-core CPU, and supports T-DMB digital television tuner, Bluetooth, FM radio, text/photo viewer, electronic dictionary function, TV-out, and G-Sensor accelerometer. The S9 also supports user interface of touchscreen, gravity sensor, zoom in/out flash menu and video clip preview function. Its battery provides up to 55 hours of music playback, 11 hours of video playback, and up to 350 hours of standby time. The Cowon S9 is available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB storage space. The DMB model will be released next year.

SAFA today rolled out the Bandi prosumer MP3 player in the Korea market. The gadget offers firefly lights GUI and has a 1.5-inch OLED display with flash memory from Samsung. The Bandi also features touch scroll. The 4GB version is priced at 69,000 Korean Won.

Energy Sistem has a couple more portable media players (PMPs) for the masses - the 4040 Touch and 5020. Both models improve upon their predecessors where styling is concerned, where the former will come with a 2.8″ touchscreen display with MPEG4, MP3, WMA , WAV, TXT, JPG and BMP support and an integrated FM tuner. With Microsoft’s PlayFX audio system, you can be sure to experience thumpin’ audio no matter where you go. The 16GB model will retail for 120 Euros. As for the 5020 and 5021 systems, these will share a similar display size, although it has the added advantage of direct support for DivX, XviD, FLV, RM and RMVB file formats. Available in black and red colors, the 5020 and 5021 will retail for 85 Euros a pop.

XPod Active Speakers is a tiny set of speakers that measures only 3.07 x 1.34 x 0.33 inches, that is about the size of the iPod 4 Gen. The XPod Active features two piezoelectric speakers and a stereo 770mW amplifier. It comes with internal rechargeable battery.

XPod Active has USB port and a 3.5mm stereo input.

A new iPod dock was launched by Marantz earlier; a wireless dock called IS301 that has Bluetooth connectivity. The whole package is composed of a few elements for all of its functionalities: there’s a receiver with all the ports needed for audio and video outputs (that includes S-Video), the transmitter to which the iPod slides into for a wireless connection to the receiver, and the charging base that could accommodate both the iPod slid into the transmitted and just the iPod itself.

The Marantz IS301 iPod dock uses Bluetooth ver.2.1 + EDR with A2DP support, has a maximum wireless distance capability of 10 meters, and is compatible with the fourth generation iPod Nano and first and second gen iPod Touch; it is not compatible with the iPhone 3G. The device will be available in Japan by January 2009 for a SRP of around $280.

Philips offers a new GoGear music player, the SA2940. GoGear SA2940 is the company’s first music player to have a color OLED display. I am a fan of Apple iPod Shuffle. I am happy to know that the gadget has received new color variants, so I can mix and match the gadget with my style. A new 8GB size capacity was also introduced with prices starting at $149. The iPod SHuffle got much much smaller too! Sold at $79 at 1GB capacity.
