NEC Japan today announced the LL7750 [JP], a new notebook in the LaVie L series, that goes on sale in Japan at the end of this month (price: $1,950). A release outside Nippon is possible but not yet confirmed.

The notebook features an Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 CPU (2.40GHz), 4GB of RAM, a 15.4-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1,280×800, a 320GB hard disc, four USB 2.0 ports and an HDMI interface, WiFi, a multi-card reader, a DVD drive and Windows Vista as the OS. NEC says the battery life is 1.2 hours (one charge takes 2.3 hours).

Measuring 362×266×38.1～39.8mm (DinA4 size), the LL750 will be available in red, black, white and pink. NEC markets the notebook in Japan as a lifestyle product with a superior design.

Dell is going to release the Adamo, a thin-and-light notebook that will rival the MacBook Air, according to some rumors. It is said that this upcoming thin-and-light notebook will be equipped with a 13-inch display and some accessories including external hard drive.
Along with external HDDs, a USB Flash drive, and an AC adapter for the Adamo Thirteen, Google Search cache also reveals internal slot-load DVD burners and Blu-ray drives and a Display Port-to-DVI adapter for the same system, so the laptop might feature a built-in optical drive and a Display Port.
Dell Adamo has its own website that is currently under construction.

Here’s a fun game that you can play at home: what comes between “Studio XPS 13″ and “Studio 15″? If you guessed “Studio 14,” you can count just about as well as those Dell marketing types. Granted, granularity has always been sort of a thing with Dell, so we can’t really harsh on them too much for giving us more options — though this laptop has only popped up at Dell Malaysia so far, so perhaps we’ll be spared the distinction (unlikely). For 3,599 RM (that’s “Malaysian ringgits,” about $1,038 of our boringly “US dollars”) you can score a Core 2 Duo T8100 2.10GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, X3100 integrated graphics, 250GB HDD and a 14.1-inch LED-backlit 1280 x 800 display. Those magical media playback controls to the right of the keyboard? Those come free.

We can’t explain the sudden onslaught of 16-inch laptops hitting the scene, but if neither the R610 nor the Aspire 6930 suited your fancy, maybe Gateway’s MC7803u will. The multimedia-minded rig recently hit CNET’s review bench, and generally speaking, critics were pleased with what they saw. The expansive display was found to be quite useful, the recessed touch pad was a nice touch and the “minimalist” design was thoroughly lauded. Reviewers did find time to bash the shallow key travel, the omission of a Blu-ray drive and somewhat sluggish performance in a few of the benchmarks, though. Evidently those negatives weren’t enough to put a damper on the system as a whole, as it still managed to snag a 3.5 out of 5 golden star rating — still not quite high enough to buy blind, but it’s probably solid enough that you don’t need to refuse shipment on the one that’s already halfway to your doorstep.

Fujitsu launches in the US the Stylistic ST6012 and Stylistic ST5112 salte style tablet PCs. Both of them have a 12.1-inch wideview touchscreen display.

The Fujitsu Stylistic ST6012 is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo Ultra Low Voltage SU9400 1.4GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 80GB hard drive and integrated graphics. The Stylistic ST5112 sports Intel Core 2 Duo Ultra Low Voltage U7700 1.33GHz, 1GB/2GB of RAM and 80GB/120GB hard drive.

Both tablets feature WiFi 802.11a/b/g, Bluetooth, integrated fingerprint scanner. They run WIndows Vista Business.

The starting prices of both Stylistic ST6012 and Stylistic ST5112 are both $1999.

Epson, perhaps better known for its printers and projectors, has a new home theater PC coming out, the Endeavor ST120. The Epson Endeavor ST120 is powered by Intel’s Core 2 Duo P8400 2.26GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 80GB hard drive and a Blu-ray optical drive, a Japan-only MonsterTV HDUS digital TV tuner all in something measuring just 75 x 185 x 195mm.

The Endeavor ST120 as standard gets 1GB of RAM and an 80GB hard-drive, though these can be upgraded to up to 4GB and 320GB 7,200rpm respectively. If the standard processor isn’t good enough for you, Intel’s P8600 (2.4GHz), T9400 (2.53GHz) and T9600 (2.8GHz) are all options. There’s also gigabit ethernet and an HDMI output.
The Epson Endeavor ST120 starts at 137,550 Yen.

Clevo is expected to introduce its 18.4-inch gaming notebook called Clevo M98xNU. The Clevo M98xNU will be powered by Intel’s quad-core mobile processor, NVIDIA MCP79 chipset, integrated NVIDIA video card and dual NVIDIA 9800M-GTX graphic card. Clevo M98xNU featuring 1080p panel and the graphic using a hybrid graphics system. Clevo will announce this new notebooks at the CeBIT 2009 tech Germany show in the next march. we’ll keep you updated.
