Asustek, via its Jerry Shen promising to release a $200 version of the Eee pc netbook in 2009. Not much is known about the proposed low-cost PC and whether or not it will be on par with the $300 Eee PC 900A Best Buy began selling earlier this month. That way, the president believes, ASUS will be able to take a full 30-percent of the netbook market next year, estimated at between 6 and 7.5 million units. No hardware specification revealed yet but acording to his statement that Asustek will replace all 7-inch and 8.9-inch netbook with 10-inch model, This can indicate that the $200 eee pc will sport a 10-inch screen.
