Asus shows G50V and G71V gaming notebook at Computex 2008. Both of them feature the nVidia GeForce 9700M GT graphic card with 512MB GDDR3 video RAM running at 1066MHz to deliver best gaming experience. It will comes with dual 500GB hard drive. The G50V will support up to 4GB of memory and two 320GB storage. Asus G71V is a desktop replacement laptop with 17-inches display that supports CPU overclocking. Asus G50V is a main stream laptop that comes with 15.6in WXGA 3D display.
Asus G71V features DDR3 1,066MHz memory, dual 500GB 2.5-inch hard drives, built in TV-tuners and Altec Lansing speakers.

Asus G50V features up to 4GB of DDR2 800 MHz memory, two 320GB SATA drives, optional WiMAX and sturdy keyboard.

Also, the 3D display can be switched on or off by an external switch.
