ASUS G50 / G71 laptops and ARES CG6155 gaming PC now available
It’s been awhile (or a long while, in the case of the ARES CG6155) since we’ve heard about these machines, but ASUS has at long last decided to start shipping ‘em to retailers. First up is the ASUS ARES CG6155, which is a desktop PC with a gaming focus. Unfortunately, there is still no public price available for this computer! ASUS says, however, that if you want to buy it, you can find out the price. Whatever that means.
The ASUS G50 and G71 are gaming notebooks and have also been shipped to retailers this week making for a bit of an ASUS influx. You can purchase either model right now.
The Asus G50 comes with 15.4 or 15.6-inch LCD screen, an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, a GeForce 9700M GT GPU, while the Asus G71 (introduced a few weeks ago) is equipped with a 17-Inch screen, 4GB of DDR2 800 MHz SDRAM, can handle up to 1 Terabyte of storage space, and a range of Intel Core2 Duo and Quad Core CPUs. It also comes with Blu-ray writer, Bluetooth, and a 2Mpix web camera.
Both Asus G50 and Asus G71 is available now with @1,249.99 price tag.
